We had such a great dinner at Emporium Thai! The staff was so welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was great, such a beautifully renovated space withe great artwork and dishwater. The food was incredible! The Khao Soi, Krapow Gai, Crispy Pork Basil were deliciousβgreat textures and bright flavors. We also loved that this is a restaurant with a family legacy. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Emporium Thai market is hands down one of my favorite places to visit! The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tastes authentic, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients with so much care and attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. On top of that, the Chef John is genuinely kind, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make every visit special. Whether youβre a longtime fan of Thai cuisine or trying it for the first time, Emporium Thai market is a must-visit. Amazing food, outstanding service, and an all-around wonderful experience. I canβt wait to come back!

I wanted to give this place a really good review, but I wouldn't say that it's authentic. It's more catered to upscale, rich, western taste profiles, definitely not a restaurant you would go to every week. We were really excited to try the Morning Glory. We didn't really enjoy it because it was too sweet and not the biggest portion for the price. The crab Curry was alright, but the fried soft shell crab itself was soo delicious. Again, it was super sweet. I wish they had told us so we would order a different dish. Our side of garlic rice was good. We also ordered the fried morning glory salad. It was delicious, not too salty and just right amount of fish sauce. None of the dishes were horrible, but not great enough for us to come back and justify the prices. We were greeted warmly at the door, but unfortunately our server never once came over to check on how the food was tasting until the end. We asked for chopsticks after our food had arrived already but I guess they didn't have any prepared because it took awhile to bring them. I understand that this restaurant is new and might need to make some changes. There's a lot of potential but Tuk Tuk across the street is a winner r

Such a gem in Sawtelle. Family-owned with the biggest hearts β you can really feel their love for food and community. John is always so kind and even shared stories about growing up in southern Thailand, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The crab curry was incredible, and the fried pork belly with Chinese broccoli was packed with flavor. The space is also very classy which is nice for date night. Definitely a spot Iβll be coming back to and bringing friends to π

So excited they opened a new spot in Sawtelle! Iβm obsessed with their decor itβs super cute, and the food is just as amazing as I remember. It was really cool seeing the owner again after 10 years. We used to go to their Westwood location with our kids when they were little, so it brought back all the memories. We had such a great dinner, and next time we definitely checking out the bar!
